Rumors of My Demise are Greatly Exaggerated
Just so everyone doesn’t freak the eff out, no, I didn’t leave treatment. I was reading the new Richard Dawkins book while waiting for the shower to warm up, and as many of you know, running water has a sopporriffic effect on me. So I fell asleep, and the nurses freaked out. All is well!
Now that I’ve put that to rest, I’d like to thank everyone who showed up to my party on Sunday or sent a note. The love and support is what’s getting me through this rather difficult time, and I’m going to need all y’all more than ever when I get back. The good news is that I’ll be in a position to give support as well as receive it, and don’t worry, most if not all of you are on the ol’ ‘amends’ list already, with top priority.
Thanks again, I was as happy on Sunday as I’ve been for years. I had almost forgotten what it felt like, frankly.

Just droppin’ a note to say Happy Turkey. I hope you had a good day. I spent my Thanksgiving juggling 2-year old triplet niece and nephews in Longview – it was smashing. Eric tried to get me to ride both a horse and a tractor. You can imagine how well that went over.
